The global star Jennie Kim, known for her work in the musical girl group Blackpink as well as her solo work, has been an ambassador for the brand Chanel since 2017. Now, she is the official face of Chanel's new 25 handbag.

The fashion house announced the news on Monday (March 24, 2025) that Jennie along with singer Dua Lipa are the face of the campaign.

The campaign film, which was shot by the acclaimed director Gordon Von Steiner, follows Jennie as she makes her way through the busy streets of Manhattan. Other shots include Jennie inside a professional photo studio.
Photos for the campaign were taken by David Sims. Photos that show off Jennie with the Chanel 25 and what the bag has to offer for its wearer. A handbag that gives off classic Chanel vibes, adding that chic, effortless and timeless feel to outfits for all occasions.
The bag appears to be spacious, allowing it to be versatile. Used for everyday wear, travel, or a work bag.
Jennie poses with many variations of the bag, showing that it can fit all styles. The bag comes in denim, metallic, white, black, etc.

The Chanel 25 made its debut during the Chanel Spring/Summer 2025 Ready to Wear show, and comes in three different sizes, small, medium, and large.
The bag is named after the year of its release, just like we see in previous releases like the Chanel 19 which was designed by Karl Lagerfeld and the the Chanel 22 which was designed by Virginie Viard.
Something about Chanel bags that have such a cool girl annotation with them. You know who would absolutely wear this bag as an everyday book bag? The Chanel icon herself, Marissa Cooper from the hit early 2000s TV show ‘The O.C’. Who's character was often seen wearing Chanel bags.

At the time of writing this the pink version of this bag is sold out, just showing how great the feedback is for both the bag and choosing a great ambassador to lead the campaign.
