Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 happened this week and the brands really showed out with their collections. With many online fashion lovers saying “fashion is back” and that these brands are really catering to what they know best and giving well thought out designs rather than just throwing together the most bizarre, shocking outfits and calling it art.
Instead they took the time and let their designs really reflect the history and the name of the brand. Here is the list of all the brands at Couture fashion week in Paris.

I will leave a link at the end for where you can find all the looks from every show, but I want to show you my favorite looks from my favorite shows. No particular order.
The Dior Couture Spring-Summer 2025 happened this week and we were able to witness a beautiful collection from the mind of Maria Grazia Chiuri.
The designs offered us a fresh modern look while also giving us that soft and angelic feel that we commonly associate with Dior. Keeping true to their roots and reminding us why we love their brand.
Fabrics crafted intimately like something out of a fairytale. According to Dior, the collection is meant to showcase “an opportunity to reawaken essential themes pertaining to sartorial centuries - in particular the creativity of previous centuries - and to disrupt the order of time, taking us back to a dimension that belongs neither to past nor future, but to fashion itself and the idea of transformation associated with it.” (Dior 2025) This idea is very clear in the designs.
The designs allow us to look into another world where we can push the boundaries of fashion and have fun. For fans of the dystopian series ‘The Hunger Games’ a lot of the designs seem as if they could be worn by people of the capital. Dior themselves say the designs are to remind us of Alice in Wonderland.
Inspiration for the collection was primarily drawn from the Trapeze line that was conceived for Dior in 1958 by the young Yves Saint Laurent.
This is the first fashion show I have seen for the new year and I will say we are starting off strong. Did Dior have the best and most memorable designs out of everyone? No, for that I would say the best Haute Couture shows belonged to Giorgio Armani or Gaurav Gupta, but Dior did show us some good designs.
I may not have fallen head over heels in love with every single design but I understood each one and they matched consistently with the theme. The use of lace and florals really gave everything such a delicate touch. Not to mention the location and the painted walls of the runway really added to that whimsical wonderland feel.
Here are my favorite looks from the show:

Giorgio Armani Privé easily had my favorite show of the week. I fell in love with every piece that walked down the runway.
From the rich bold colors, the sparkles, the way the materials moved, everything about every design took my breath away. Did I mention the sparkles? The sparkles.
The collection had such chic and elegant designs that brought in inspirations from all around the world and different cultures.
The collection is supposed to show a strong woman who is well traveled and in her closet shows her journey. Shapes and colors representing China, prints and embroideries giving us the soft and delicate landscapes of Polynesia and India, the linear elegance of Japan. The list goes on and you really can find different parts of the world in different pieces.
This collection really is what fashion is supposed to be and how artistic and expressive it is.
The show was an intimate gathering and allowed its guests to fully immerse themselves into the history of the Italian fashion house and what they had to offer. It is no wonder this brand has such a rich and loved history.
Here are my favorite pieces from the show.

ZUHAIR MURAD, a collection that brought an ode to a beautiful tropical paradise. In the words of ZUHAIR MURAD, the spring 2025 collection is, “a fortuitous alignment of the stars, the world begins anew, revealing the vision of an ideal Eve, radiant as she awakens on the very first morning of creation.”
I think they outdid themselves with this collection and every new design that walked down the runway had my eyes twinkling like a kid on Christmas seeing all the gifts under the tree.
Each design had its unique and regal feel. Here are my favorite looks from the show.

Gaurav Gupta, a collection that really leaned into the beauty of both light and dark. In their words, ”A collection of looks that are a testament to the strength found in vulnerability and the light that emerges from the darkest flames.”
The collection itself tells a story, that of love, resilience, healing, and being reborn.
They showcased materials molded together as if they were sculptures in a museum. The creativity and artistry truly takes all the words out of one’s mouth. With each design you really get the sense of feeling they were portraying.
Here are my favorites from the show that really hold so much emotion within the designs.
